I heard this on the speakers at work today - there was a whole set of mid-70s to early-80s rock going on.
Marshall Crenshaw is, of course, best known as a member of (younger) Pete's band, "The Blowholes," from the Adventures of Pete & Pete epside, "A Hard Day's Pete."
