The Cult live in Atlantic City

I was able to see The Cult play in Montclair, NJ earlier in this same tour. They were excellent. You can see a whole show here, in pieces.

I feel like they did a better Love Removal Machine at the show I went to, but the versions of Fire Woman and She Sells Sanctuary were equally good.

George Thorogood - One Boubon, One Scotch, and One Beer (Live in NJ)

The Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ used to be a stop for major rock acts. It's long gone, now. That's especially sad because I live so, so close to its old location.

Here is George Thorogood playing a ripping version of One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer. It's not a song he wrote, but he owns it like Hendrix owns "All Along the Watchtower."

Gomez - Airstream Driver

This is a any-time, any-where, good mood song for me:

SWMRS covers "Bad Reputation"

I've said it before - if you don't like Joan Jett, we don't need to talk about music.

Therefore, I like this cover by SWMRS:

I have the Stiff Records version of this song on a Best of Punk compilation CD. But here's another version:

The Kinks - Living on a Thin Line

The Kinks made some of the best rock and roll songs of all time. Here's yet another example:

J-Ska? - HEY-SMITH - "Let it Punk"

I was listening to some Hi-Standard and Ken Yokoyama the other day and this popped up in my recommended videos on Youtube:

Japanese ska-punk? How is it that I'm only just now aware of these guys?
